Saving lives, One Text at a Time

At any given moment 800,000 Americans are texting and making calls without a hands free device while driving during the daytime. With nearly 8,000 deaths and half a million injuries in the U.S. caused by distracted drivers just last year, we realized that the hands free laws that are being passed in many states were not enough to fight this deadly, growing epidemic.

Our solution is to come together as a community to reward individuals for making the choice to not allow their cell phone to distract them while driving. We created the TextNoMore patented application, which allows community sponsors to offer rewards in the form of discounted merchandise and services in exchange for the individual’s commitment to take a stand against distracted driving by enabling the application before they hit the road.

Our Mission Has Grown

When tragedy hit TextNoMore’s hometown of Portland, Oregon with the disappearance of  local children, we saw an opportunity to expand our mission. By partnering with Association of Missing and Exploited Children’s Organization (AMECO) and the Oregonians Against Trafficking Human (OATH), we have enabled our application to also provide pictures and information on missing children each time the driver activates it. With an astounding 2,300 Americans reported missing every day, the speed at which we can reach so many individuals is critical in bringing families back together.

TextNoMore.com has decided to donate a generous amount of the proceeds of TextNoMore to fund these much needed and necessary pillars of our community AMECO and OATH. We strongly support the motives and mission of the Missing Children Foundation, and TextNoMore will do everything we can to make sure every missing child comes home.

TextNoMore’s pledge is to help save as many lives and bring as many children home as possible while unifying our community and empowering small business. Every download means another person has undertaken the responsibility to be a safe driver in their community as well as a helping hand in the identification and rescue of missing loved ones. TextNoMore makes the big world a small and more manageable community of advocates for safer roads and a safer society, while sending the message that we will not stop looking for the missing until they are safe and back home with their families.
